What to do if you are involved in an accident:
- If your vehicle has been in an accident, contact your insurance agent first.
- If your agent asks you to get an estimate, come see us at either one of our convenient locations. A typical estimate only takes about 15 minutes.
- Keep in mind that you have the right to have your vehicle repaired at the collision shop of your choice. If your insurance company tries to pressure you to have your vehicle inspected or repaired at a particular body shop, know that the decision is yours.
- Remember, differences in repair estimates are common. A lower estimate may not be the best estimate, as it may not include all necessary parts & labor needed to repair your vehicle properly. Quality is our number one priority.
- We offer a lifetime warranty on all collision repairs.
The collision repair process at Bonnell’s Collision
- Start the process by getting a free estimate by one of our trained appraisers.
- It is your choice whether you pay out of pocket, or turn a claim in to your insurance company. Should you decide to have your vehicle repaired under an insurance claim, once the repairs are authorized by the insurance company, we’ll schedule you in for repairs. If you’re paying out of pocket, we can schedule you immediately.
- We’ll immediately order parts for your vehicle so that they’re already here when your vehicle arrives. If you’ll be needing a rental car while your vehicle is here in our shop, we can assist in making those arrangements for you.
- Drop your vehicle off. We have convenient shop hours to accommodate you, as well as a key drop box at both Bonnell’s locations should you need to bring your vehicle in before or after normal business hours.
- Should any hidden damage be found during the repair process, supplemental parts will be ordered & repairs will continue. We will update you any time additional repairs are found necessary.
- Upon completion of your vehicle, your vehicle will be quality inspected & fully detailed.
- You will then be notified that your vehicle is finished. Pick up your vehicle & you’re on your way!

We can and will contact you numerous times during the time of your vehicle repair. How often we contact you is solely up to you. You can choose to be contacted if there are any parts delays or if any additional damage to your vehicle is discovered. Your satisfaction is our number one priority.
